Honoring Bonnie Fisch's Legacy
Support Fox Cities Special Olympians
Thank you so much for your support of SOAR Fox Cities Special Olympics in memory of Bonnie Fisch. Bonnie was a dedicated mother, advocate, and friend, impacting the lives of countless people through her work advocating for inclusion and opening doors for individuals with differing abilities, including her youngest son, Jimmer. For most of her life, she was a strong advocate and supporter of Fox Valley Special Olympics, as Jimmer himself was a wonderful athlete who excelled in his favorite sport, golf. Jimmer had many wonderful opportunities to build skills, compete with other athletes, and have incredible experiences with friends through Special Olympics. Through Special Olympics, Jimmer golfed with Max McGee (former Green Bay Packer) and his son in Wisconsin Dells, and gave Max a few golfing tips! He also traveled out of state with his golf coach to play some very nice golf courses, including a course in Palm Springs. To honor Bonnie's memory and continue her legacy of change, in lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to SOAR Special Olympics, so that others would experience the same joys as Jimmer and Bonnie, and she can continue to make a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors with differing abilities.
